The results of the 2007 System Capability Survey are now in! This was a cross-sectional study performed as part of a wider ongoing longitudinal study into healthcare IT system maturity in Chinese hospitals. We hope that this will be a useful resource for Chinese healthcare in providing insights into informatics trends and allow opportunities for benchmarking your own hospital.

Assessment Method

Healthcare facilities were assessed according to the level of sophistication of a range of system capabilities across a wide range of clinical and administrative processes. Using a 20 point rating scale capabilities were rated based on functional, technical and integration sophistication.
